Not everyone needs access to airport lounges. As nice as it is to escape from the hubbub at the departure gate, the comfort and convenience come at a high price. But if you’re a reasonably frequent flyer, and tend to fly on the same carrier, an annual lounge membership may be money well spent.
It helps when the deal is sweetened with an extra-long membership period, and with bonus frequent flyer miles, as in this offer from US Airways.
Offers Details
Between March 28 and April 3, sign up for a new US Airways Club annual membership using Promotion Code CLB14 to receive two extra membership months and 2,500 elite-qualifying miles. The normal $50 initiation fee for new members will also be waived. The offer is available to current customers whose US Airways Club memberships are eligible for renewal as well.
Membership includes access to all US Airways Clubs, United Clubs, and Star Alliance lounges.
Deal or No Deal
At $450 per year for a non-elite member of US Airways’ Dividend Miles program, lounge membership is a hefty expense, not to be undertaken lightly.
If you’re on the fence, this very short-term promotion could well be the difference-maker.
