Carlson has been one of the few good-news stories of the past year, with a series of solid bonus offers and award-price changes that were actually a net positive for members of the Club Carlson program. That momentum was derailed somewhat by its devaluation of points redeemed for airline miles, in July, but it wasn’t enough to bend the overall trend line into negative territory.
The newly announced “Stay 3 Nights Get 1 Free” promotion fits solidly with the company’s recent record of strong offers.
Between January 6 and April 13, Club Carlson members can earn 38,000 bonus points after staying three qualifying nights at participating Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn, and Country Inns & Suites hotels.
The bonus may be earned only once per person.
Registration is required.
Deal or No Deal
In Carlson’s program, 38,000 points is enough for a free night at Category 1 – 4 hotels. It’s thus possible to get solid value from this offer by logging the three qualifying nights at one or more cheaper hotels, and redeeming the bonus points at a Category 4 property.
This is one of the more compelling among the current crop of winter hotel promotions.
