From Best Western: a Free Night After 3 Stays

After a slow start, this summer is shaping up as a reasonably lucrative one for hotel offers.

Between June 17 and August 19, Best Western Rewards members can earn a free night voucher after three qualifying paid stays.

Only one voucher may be earned per member, and vouchers must be used by January 31, 2013.

Alternatively, Rewards members may choose to earn 2,000 Aeroplan miles for each of up to three stays during the promotion period (that’s the normal 250 miles per stay plus a 1,750-mile bonus).

If the three qualifying stays are charged to a Best Western MasterCard, the member will also earn 1,000 Rewards bonus points.

Registration is required.

Deal or No Deal

In a best case scenario — three one-night stays at cheaper Best Westerns to qualify; the voucher redeemed for a free night at a pricier property — this promotion is capable of delivering solid value.

The question for many travelers: Will you be able to make the three required stays within the narrow two-month qualification window?

If not, there are the Choice or Marriott promotions, both of which feature a free night at lower-tier hotels but after just two stays, or the Club Carlson promotion, which features enough points for a free night after just one stay.
