Country Inns Offers 10,000 Points for a One-Night Stay

Country Inns Offers 10,000 Points for a One-Night Stay

Unlike some first-quarter hotel promotions, Carlson’s "Country Means Business" offer is limited to stays at a single brand during a period of just six weeks.

Still, it’s worth a look.

Offer Details

Between January 2 and February 17, members of the goldpoints plus program can earn a one-time 10,000-point bonus for staying one or more nights, Sunday through Thursday, at a Carlson Hotels Country Inns & Suites hotel.

A three-day advance booking is required.

Deal or No Deal

While the reward is notably generous, the promotion period is short and the offer is limited to Carlson’s approximately 500 Country Inns & Suites properties—about half of Carlson’s network, which also includes Regent, Radisson, Radisson Blu, Radisson Edwardian, Park Plaza, and Park Inn hotels.

Quibbles aside, 10,000 bonus points for a single night is an uncommonly rich offer.

    Nice deal.

However, I’m not seeing the usual properties included/excluded on their promo web page. Are you able to point to (or clarify) where you got the info on the location limitation?

    Thanks

Joe – The offer pages mentions “participating hotels” but doesn’t list them. When you use the booking app, it will show the “Country Means Business” rate if it’s available at that location.

    Aha, ok got it. Thanks!
