Offers Details

Between April 3 and June 30, AAdvantage members can earn double elite-qualifying miles on American round-trip flights between Dallas/Ft. Worth and Boston.

Two items of special note:

  • The extra miles count toward earning elite status, but cannot be redeemed for awards.
  • The bonus-earning flights can be part of a longer trip and still qualify for the extra miles. If, for example, you were flying from Boston to Buenos Aires, via Dallas, you’d still earn the double elite miles on the Boston-Dallas flights.

Registration is required, using promotion code BOSEQ.

Deal or No Deal

Elite-qualifying miles are great for those who are trying to qualify for AAdvantage status or upgrade to a higher elite tier. But that’s a pretty select group.

For those who are less than invested in AAdvantage status, there may be an alternative on the horizon. On May 1, JetBlue will begin three-times-daily service on the Boston-Dallas route and is likely to offer its own bonuses, especially now that American has upped the ante.
